The Seven Currents · Courage, protection & discipline
Bellator
To develop the courage, restraint, and discipline needed to protect others and meet responsibility.
Bellator joins strength with judgment. Courage includes standing beside someone in difficulty, remaining steady under pressure, and accepting responsibility for one’s actions. Discipline gives strength direction; restraint keeps its use connected to care.
Putting the Current into practice
Build discipline
Develop consistent habits, preparation, and responsibility in ordinary work.
Practice protection
Learn to recognize danger, support others, and respond with proportionate judgment.
Examine courage
Reflect on fear, conflict, restraint, and the consequences of action before and after a difficult choice.
The path of learning
The progression within Bellator is Tiro, Legio, then Dux. Each stage joins understanding with the ability to put it into practice.
Tiro · Beginner
Begin learning discipline, personal responsibility, and the difference between courage and recklessness.
Legio · Practitioner
Demonstrate steady judgment, contribute to protective responsibilities, and guide Tiros through practice.
Dux · Master teacher
Teach courage and restraint, uphold the Current’s standards, and evaluate readiness to carry greater responsibility.
How advancement works
Legios evaluate a learner’s work and make recommendations. The Duces hear the evidence and vote. The Legate presides over the process and does not vote.
A Current rank describes development within that Current. Membership status and an office of service in the Aedes describe other responsibilities and can overlap with a Current rank.
A place within the whole
Bellator is one of the Seven Currents. Its work contributes to the wider life of Logosianism while retaining its own field of study and practice.
